Fabulous LUCKY PENNY Encased Vintage Tokens Necklace - Souvenir Advertising Coin Cent Collector Numismatic Exonumia
What an awesome necklace for the person who loves coins or good luck charms! We have added these wonderful vintage lucky penny tokens to a vintage 1940s chunky aluminum chain with a fancy flower in diamond design on the links. Best of all, the necklace is reversible and you can wear it either way you prefer! The encased penny tokens are all different with advertising or souvenir themes. The encasings all look to be aluminum - please note that the bell shaped encasing in the center has a light gold tone to it - there isn't as much contrast in person as in the photo...it is a light gold color. On many (but not all) of the encasings, one side has a horseshoe, a four leaf clover and it read KEEP ME AND NEVER GO BROKE - or KEEP ME AND HAVE GOOD LUCK. Here is a quick list: Beautyrest Magic Sleep Penny 1939 wheat back, Somebody Sometime Temporary Help 1973 D, Security Trust Co of Lynn, Massachusetts 1959 D, Souvenir of Alabama 1976 D, Tailors Clothiers Goldbergs 1953 D wheat back, Souvenir of Washington D.C. 1949 wheat back, Joe W. Brown's Horseshoe Club 1957 D wheat back, Merry Christmas Uncle Mike Ware Trust Co. 1967, Adam Rosenthal Insurance 1945 wheat back, Re-elect Bob Baran Clifton Councilman May 14, 1974 1974 D, and Hodge's Chile Co 1953 D wheat back. The condition is vintage with wear as seen in the enlarged photos. This would be perfect to wear to a coin and paper money show, antique show, gambling or gaming, to St. Patrick's Day or any day you want to feel lucky! Looks especially striking against black. You will love this!!!
We don't know much about coins, but if you have a question about a particular penny, we will answer the best we can. Please be as specific as possible.
