Antique Sterling GARDEN OF THE GODS Spoon - Souvenir of Colorado
This gorgeous antique Victorian or Edwardian era spoon is made of sterling silver and has a detailed scene of the Gateway to the Garden of the Gods in the bowl. The handle has a donkey and miner on the front and a teepee and canoe on the back. The spoon is a teaspoon size and measures about 5 3/8" long by almost 1 1/8" across the bowl. Signed with the initial H inside a pennant which according to what I've read is the mark of Mechanics Sterling Co. which was a subsidiary of Watson & Newell Co. and also marked STERLING. It weighs about 21.1 grams. Good antique condition with light age wear. You will treasure this!!!
