Antique Sterling MINNEQUA STEEL WORKS Spoon - Signed Mechanics / Watson - Souvenir of Pueblo Colorado
This gorgeous antique spoon is made of sterling silver and has a detailed design of MINNEQUA STEEL WORKS in the bowl. On the front of the handle, there is a flower design and it reads COLUMBINE. It measures about 5" long by about 1" wide across the bowl. Signed with the initial H inside a pennant which according to what I've read is the mark of Mechanics Sterling Co. which was a subsidiary of Watson & Newell Co. and also marked STERLING. The weight is about 12.4 grams. Very good antique condition with light age wear. We would estimate this was made in the early 1900s. You will love it!!!
