Antique Sterling CONGRESSIONAL LIBRARY Spoon - Souvenir of Washington DC
This gorgeous antique Victorian or Edwardian era spoon is made of sterling silver. It has a very detailed design in the bowl and reads - CONGRESSIONAL LIBRARY. There is an eagle on a shield with E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top of the handle. Also on the front of the handle is The White House, an American flag and the Washington Monument. The back of the handle has Mount Vernon and reads WASHINGTON DC. It is a teaspoon sized spoon and measures about 5 3/8" long by 1 1/16" across the bowl. The weight is about 16.8 grams. Signed with the initials of CB&H which is the mark of CODDING BROTHERS & HEILBRON and also marked STERLING. You will treasure this!!!
