Antique TIFFANY & CO Sterling Teaspoon Spoon - Tiffany aka Beekman Pattern Victorian
This gorgeous antique Victorian era spoon is made of sterling silver in the pattern called "Tiffany" and also know as "Beekman". It is monogrammed with the fancy engraved initial JW on the handle. The spoon measures in between 5 15/16" and 6" long by about 1 3/16" across the bowl. It is signed M TIFFANY & CO STERLING PAT. 1869 (the 1869 is a partial mark as seen). According to what I've read, when the initial M is present before Tiffany & Co, it means it was produced during the time Edward C. Moore was director and would have been made by 1891 or prior. The weight is about 24.5 grams. Good antique condition with light age appropriate wear including a few dimples and some smoothing to the sterling. If this is your pattern, you will be very happy to find this! You will treasure it!!!
