Deja Reja Dog Vintage Estate Fur Clip Brooch - Figural Enameled with Rhinestones
What a fabulous vintage Art Deco era fur clip or dress clip brooch! It is signed DEJA. Deja jewelry was produced between 1939 - 1941, then the name was changed to Reja. The fur clip is in the design of a terrier or scotty scottie dog head. It is enamel painted in a beautiful blue color with white accents and touches of red on the tongue and nose. It is also set with clear rhinestones on the ears and collar. The metalwork is gold plated silver colored metal. Measures about 1 5/8" by 1 5/16". Good condition with typical age wear to the enamel painting, expected ageing to the stones and some wear to silver color on the metalwork as seen. The prongs work well. This fur clip is a rare find in signed vintage designer jewelry! You will love it!!!
