A bit of history of the Kruik style from Rick Erickson book: The famous Amsterdam distiller Erven Lucas Bols, best known for their genever (gin) was founded in 1575. From September of 1880 until about 1940, Porceleyne Fles began manufacturing Items for this distillery.
Koninklije Porceleyne De Fles 'Royal Delft factory began in 1653. Of the 32 factories established in Delft in the 17th century, it is the only one that remains.
