This is a long 8-1/4" hatpin, probably from the early 1900s. The "head" of the pin is about 1-1/8" with the pink stone in an oval pronged setting. The stone is a bit loose - the prongs need tightening. We are offering this one and others from a wonderful collection of a friend who is relocating. The post is straight and the tip is sharp. The back of the stone has a crack that does not show on the curved face of the stone. See photos. The setting has an Art Nouveau look to it and a rope edge.
