This is a long 10-1/8" hatpin, probably from the early 1900s. The hammered "head" of the pin is about 1-3/4" and the topaz stone is glass, according to one jeweler. We are offering this one and others from a wonderful collection of a friend who is relocating. The post is straight and the tip is not sharp. The tip looks like it was filed and shows a silver color. The filigree piece with the topaz stone is not exactly centered. See photos. What a beauty!
