We love this unusual Hall's Kitchenware red teapot with sugar bowl and creamer. We spotted it right away sitting with our friend's very formal antique china. The pot is 6" tall, holds 4 cups (32 oz ) and has a self strainer at the spout. The set is in the streamline Art Moderne style and is in great condition (survived a couple of earthquakes!) The only flea bite chips we see are the few on the lip of the spout and 3 on the creamer (with handle on the right photo). They are chips in the red glaze, not deep cracks. There is a black smudge on the bottom of the teapot. We were able to remove some of it with a Q-tip and De-Solv-It, but still a bit of the stubborn substance remains.
We are listing many items from a home in the Victorian area of Los Angeles. It was built in 1922 and our friend's family has lived there since then. Most of the items are from the 20s-40s. We believe this set is from the 30s.
