This pitcher measures 7" tall so it is much larger than a creamer. It is hand painted majolica with the name and address of the restaurant on the front. The Guinness Book of World Records lists Restaurante Botin in Madrid as the oldest restaurant in the world. There are 3 flea bites on the rim (see photos) where the clay shows through. On the photo with one flea bite showing, there are two metallic spots below that chip. Since we are not clear on what majolica tin-glazing means, we wonder if that's where the metal comes from. They look like dark spots in the photo with another metallic spot where the handle meets the body of the pitcher. Otherwise, this little pitcher is in tip-top shape. We think it would be great with a huge bunch of flowers.
