From the studio of Florida master potter Kathleen King in the 1980's & 1990's originated a diverse array of original, organic vessels. The recurring themes found in her ceramics deriving from shapes, patterns and texture in nature are exemplified in this watermelon-sized vase. The casual impressions of sea grasses as they trace the action of the wind on the sand; the twisted contours of a root; the life rings of a weathered log; a starfish; all become the artist's inspiration for her work.
The color is low-gloss off white. Approximately 11" X 9" wide. Condition is perfect.
