Nice early Delft blue and white hand painted Dutch tile measuring 5" X 5" dates from Rembrandt's time. Intricate border decoration frames a hunter in period hunting attire bearing a matchlock musket. There is some edge chipping and extensive age checking in the glaze but it has never been broken and is solid as can be. There is a fair amount of old mortar on the back which hasn't been disturbed.
