Here is a great vintage patriotic postcard. It is embossed and has gold trim. The front features Washington's hatchet with some cherries hanging over the wooden handle and inside the blade you see an image of a young George Washington. The caption reads: "Washington - His boyhood days". The back has been written on and mailed. It is postmarked 1914 and there is a green one cent stamp affixed in the stamp box. There is soiling on the front & back of the postcard, very minimal edge wear and creases in the upper left, upper right and lower right corners. Lower left corner is bumped. It is in good condition despite those issues. A great find and a wonderful addition to any political and patriotic postcard collection! Please see photos for condition.
