Here is a very nice and clean metal Mutt & Jeff lapel stud pin to add to your collection. It is being offered here for the first time by us. Mutt & Jeff first appeared on the scene in 1907. Created by cartoonist, Bud Fisher making it the first American newspaper cartoon published as a strip of panels, as opposed to a single panel, making it the first "comic strip" to successfully pioneer that since-common format. The "Mutt and Jeff" comic strip remained in syndication until 1983. This lapel stud is in excellent condition, and measures 3/4" across the middle, by 1-1/16" in height. Don't miss out on adding this great piece of early comic strip history to your collection. We attempt to be as accurate as possible with our descriptions, so there are no surprises to the lucky buyer. Our photos should tell you just about all of the rest. Please email us with any questions or concerns that you may have. You will be answered in a timely manner. If asking on or near the weekend, give us a little more time to respond, as we may be away on business.
