Here is a very nice T.S.S.California steamship souvenir pin for the Scottish Clans visit or immigration to the United States in 1924, to add to your collection. It was recently acquired and is being offered by us for the first time ever anywhere. The T.S.S. California was launched in 1923 and was one of the Anchor Line ships of the time. It was used both as a transatlantic cruise ship for some people, and for others, it was used as an immigrant ship to the US, or possibly Canada. This voyage probably left Glasgow in 1924 for New York. Being that this pin was made by the Laven & Lauer Co. Maiden Lane New York, N.Y. Who knows maybe there is someone out there who had a Scottish relative that sailed this ship in 1924. That would be cool to find a relatives roots that way! Anyway this nice pin is in excellent condition without any problems. It could have been worn as a lapel pin or hang as a pendant on a chain. It measures 3/4" across. Don't miss out on adding this great piece of steamship/ocean liner history to your collection. We attempt to be as accurate as possible with our descriptions, so there are no surprises to the lucky buyer. Our photos should tell you just about all of the rest. Please email us with any questions or concerns that you may have. You will be answered in a timely manner. If asking on or near the weekend, give us a little more time to respond, as we may be away on business.
