Here is a very nice pair of WWII US Army Air Corps Navigator wings to add to your collection. It is being offered here on Ruby Lane for the very first time. It has some nice even wear across the high points of this piece. The navigator was established on September 4 1942. Prior to that time, all navigators wore the full size air crew wings. Although, I am sure that some navigators after this date, may have still worn their air crew wings. I would assume that when "new" navigators graduated from their training fields after this date, they were issued the then "new" navigator specialist wings. This is a full size, and quite heavy, solid set of wings and measures 3" across, and is marked in raised lettering "sterling." Don't miss out on adding this piece of WWII US military history to your collection. Our photos should tell you just about all of the rest. Please email us with any questions or concerns that you may have. You will be answered in a timely manner. If asking on or near the weekend, give us a little more time to respond, as we may be away on business.
