1956 Republican National Convention San Francisco New York Representative Souvenir Pinback Button

Here is a very nice 1956 Republican National Convention San Francisco, New York (Representative) souvenir pinback button to add to your collection. It is being offered here by us for the first time. This is the first for us with this button. These apparently were the colors that they used for this convention on the pinbacks in general. Because the standard 1956 Republican National Convention pinback that is seen on occasion used the same colors. Purple lettering over a medium orange background. From all of the pinback buttons that we have ever handled in our 45+ years of being in business is very unusual. I don't think that we have ever had that color combination before. Also to note this size 2-1/8"-2-1/4" is a little more unusual in a pinback button form. This is a standard size for most all advertising mirrors. Anyway this pinback is in excellent condition, with the exception of some light rust on the metal backing, and a little on the metal rim. You can see all of this in our photo.
