These three 7 1/2" bisque shoulder head dolls are authentically dressed in Norwegian costuming. They were originally made in Germany, possibly by Kling, circa the 1870s-on, but were dressed most likely in Norway. The dolls remain in sturdy condition on cloth bodies with bisque lower arms and bisque legs detailed with painted two strapped bootines. The doll with the large pleated white hat sustains some light chipping to her right hand. The dolls' outfits remain in fairly clean condition with light discoloration from age and storage. The woolen portions of two of the dolls suffer moth holes. The hat belonging to the doll with gold trim along her hemline may not be original. The dolls are charming and are perfectly sized for a doll house! Lovely bead work--
