This vintage early nineteenth century bronze & white marble garniture set is designed with a stunning partially dressed female figure reclining on the core' clock canister & white marble platform. The bronze is beautifully detailed holding an open book with delicately sculpted hands. A white enamel clock face is decorated with Roman numerals. The glass on the door over the clock face is missing. There is a key wind movement with a French bell.
The movement is stamped Farret A Paris, Medaille D'or Paris 1827. The key & pendulum are included. The figural clock is accompanied with a pair of matching bronze & white marble candelabras that enhance & showcase the garniture.
