This vintage early 1920's Art Deco bronze & marble clock is designed in an elaborate Egyptian revival motif. Accenting the Belgium black marble clock case on each side, are sculpted patinated bronze sphinxes & above is a dominant, four hoofed winged, heavily bearded deity. The clock has a key wind movement & a decorative face bearing the Mermod Jaccard & Co. name. Although the clock is in running order & all essential parts are present, it may require a cleaning &/or service to keep time. There are some small chips in the marble.
