This pair of French lamps with bronze decorations is possibly Paris porcelain circa early 1900s. The lamps have ewer shaped porcelain bodies & each is hand painted with a vibrant detailed portrait of one person of a young couple & positioned to dominate each lamp. On the reverse of each lamp, a dove appears. On one lamp holding the bonnet & on the other the hat of each character. The bronze handles rise majestically from a lion's head, accentuating the design of the handle against the porcelain body. The lamps are in working order & measure 26" tall X 9" wide.
