This vintage 19th century continental men's open face pocket watch has a coin silver case with a silver punch mark of the latter "H". A white enamel face is accented with a smaller second enamel face displaying Arabic numerals. Also displayed on the dial is a working escape movement.
There is a larger hinged movement that lifts up from its case. This antique watch has a key wind movement but, sadly, no key. An unusual elongated stem winder is attached to the case. A visible balance staff on the watch face is in working order & moves when the watch is rocked back & forth. There are hair lines in the enamel face.
