Antique Wax W/ Glass Eyes Creche De Bethleem Original Scene Gorgeous Papier Mache Flowers Religious Doll

Here is a wonderful Antique Doll, with glass eyes. This is an early piece on a wood base. I imagine at one time there was a glass dome that covered this beautiful piece. There is an old Tiny piece label that reads: Creche De Bethleem. The piece is wonderful, The piece is surrounded by seashells nuts, flower and a tree. The baby has some issues but nothing to take away from this wonderful piece. The baby has one arm that has come loose at the bending part, but it fits right in there, seems like an easy repair, Said the girl who cannot sew a button on. The doll does have some melting spots but for the age this is wonderful, when you look at it up close, one side is a little pressed in, but it is beautiful and a stunning piece to display. There is the wood base and then a Papier Mache type material that holds the Baby. The baby has mohair and he is just over 8" long. There is something really special about this piece, I have enjoyed displaying it in my home for the short time I have had it. The piece just speaks to you. This is a wonderful piece.
