Okay, this has been in my home for many years... but I am doing some rearranging and it is time to let this sweet little girl go to a new home, I absolutely love this painting. The painting is of a sweet little girl, and it is a famous painting, but it was painted or copied again some years later. This practice has been common for a lot of very fine pieces of art work... I love her and she is nicely done. There was a time when I knew the name of the piece. The frame is just as wonderful gilt with fancy scroll work. The painting is 39" Tall and it is 33 1/2" wide... this is just gorgeous... the back is signed KENT on the frame. The detail is amazing, I had this on a wall in my Dinning Room and then in my Foyer.. but over a Mantle would be great, anywhere you have room for a large piece that speaks for itself.
