Here is a wonderful miniature painting on wood.. This is an old painting and I just love the scene. This has the Milk Maid holding the rope of the Cow and the dog is moving all around and a cow or bull in the background.. This is signed with what LOOKS LIKE J A Gilchrist... I know it is Gilchrist just not positive about the letters before... I am not an art expert but this has been here from an estate for a long time..The size is perfect is 7" X 9" This is a sweet piece and it just a charming piece.
