Beautiful mid 19th century Mahogany English Tall Case Clock made by listed clockmaker William Ashall circa 1840-60. This is a stunningly beautiful clock with excellent veneer and inlay designs throughout the case. The case door has a slight warp to it and someone has cut chamfered lines in the interior of the door at some point in it's life to help compensate for the slight warp to the door. This piece retains it's original surface with a very warm rich color and patina. This clock is in very good working condition with weights and pulleys possibly replaced at some point.
Condition: Minor repairs, veneer replacements, original surface with the usual imperfections for a piece of this age.
