A very nice Mahogany Georgian Sideboard 1790-1820. This is a beautiful bow front Sideboard in very good condition and in a great size that can fit just about anywhere. The figured Mahogany top and the front of the case are outlined with a Satinwood cross banded Inlay ending in fan design inlays in the corners of the drawers and door fronts. The fronts of the legs are also detailed with a string Inlay. The hardware is old and looks to be original to the piece along with the lock on the door that is working with a supplied key. The possibly original leaded decanter caddy is still in the drawer and is included. A beautiful warm mellow color to the Mahogany and a great patina to the original surface on this piece.
Condition: Very good. Minor old repairs touch ups on the drawer and door front, some veneer repairs, the usual age and usage marks for a piece of this age. Very old, possibly original polished and waxed surfaces. Old repair on the large drawer front near the Brass pull.
Measurements: 21 1/2” deep x 53 1/2” long x 35” tall.
