Chippendale Slant Front Desk

A very nice early 19th century Cherry slant front desk probably Pennsylvania or Virginia. Nicely dovetailed case resting on tall bracket feet. The interior surface is fitted with several small drawers and a locking lid with three smaller drawers behind it. Yellow Pine secondary wood on the interior of the case and drawers. The old finish has a great color and patina and has been polished and waxed. The drawers are all gliding nicely in the case.

Condition: Very good condition. Hardware is an older replacement, lid hinges were replaced at some point, repairs to the drawers one backboard is a replacement.
