These gorgeous earrings are classic Miriam Haskell!
Someone has taken and converted them to pierced posts, and for obvious reasons. So large, they would easily get knocked off the ear! Alas, the signatures are gone, but I humbly verify and guarantee them as Haskell for so many wonderful reasons!
For those of you who follow my shop, and for some Haskell lovers, you will remember the shoulder duster earrings with the exact golden leaf findings ... covered in hand wired rose montees and finished with rose montee strands... I am working on locating a photo and will include it here. (There is a pair offered in another Ruby Lane shop as I write this.) But we hardly need the signature or the other earrings for proof. Beautiful 24 karat Russian gold plated findings (still oh-so vibrant), classic Haskell rose montees, all hand wired and then wired to double filigree backs. The center stone is a rhinestone chaton (to clarify, rose montees are flat on the bottom~ wider face on the top than most rhinestones, creating a more antique look; chatons come to a point on the bottom). Other than the alteration to the backs (my shoulder dusters were screw ons with lever backs and signed on the rear of the backs) there are simply no issues to report. Except one..... they are fabulous!
Measurements: 2" all directions; 1/2" profile off the ear.
