Roberto Cavalli happens to be one of my all-time favorite designers. Born in Florence Italy, Cavalli's printed leather creations (which he invented) were perhaps his early destiny~ his mother was a tailor and his grandfather a talented impressionist painter with works in the Uffizi Museo in Florence. In my humble opinion, this jacket, vest and skirt printed patchwork suede ensemble is a wearable work of art.
The primary color of the suede on the jacket and vest is a sun-warmed tan. The jacket is accented with zig zag sewn patches of deep purple printed suede, rusty sienna suede and green leather and suede boasting an awesome impressionistic floral print. The jacket and vest feature signature enamel snap button closures in vibrant metallic green and rust. The A-line skirt is constructed of a patchwork of deep purple, rust, warm tan and green suede, all with beautiful unique prints. The seams on all the pieces have a decorative zig zag stitch. Skirt closes with a metal zipper and a hook and eye at the side.
The pieces are quite small. Will fit a size 0-4.
