A beautiful Jeanne Lanvin extremely luminous gold lame jacket from the 1960's is accented with vertical stripes of tan wool embroidery and features faux pear and gold buttons down the front and at the wrists. Nehru style collar. Although there are a couple of issues which we list in the condition report, it remains an awesome period piece.
Bodice has hand sewn lining of gold silk (sleeves unlined). Metal hook and eye closure at the collar.
Condition: Good. Slight fraying to the gold lame on the collar. Some piling to the wool stripes. A 3mm hole in the lame on the back of the collar. A 1/2" abrasion to the lame below the collar in the back. (Difficult to see and long hair would cover! Look closely at photo #8). A 3"" hole in the lame at the back side below the waist line. Small tears in the lining below the neckline. Uncleaned.
Measurements fully closed:
Length: 29" measured from bottom of collar in the rear
Sleeve Length: 18" measured from under arm
Wrist Opening: 8"
Shoulder from armhole to collar: 5 1/4"
