Pictured in the first photo with the sleeveless top, cummerbund and skirt. Also comes with a ¾" length sleeve top. This was most likely one of the first designs to come out of the Tricots line launched by Christian Dior Paris in 1968. Another beautiful colorway, complimentary to nearly anyone: rich orange like a Sardinian coral, raspberry fuchsia, golden mustard and pale yellow with muted silver green outlines and signed within the fabric of all pieces. Only the two tops contain labels, "Tricots Christian Dior Paris; and they both have the red and white small French size label on the side seams (size 44). All pieces fabricated from the same fabric – no fabrication label - feels like silk jersey but given the name of the line, most likely nylon. Impeccably tailored with serged and hand finished seams.
In excellent vintage condition with no pulls or stains. Dry cleaned and stored upon our acquisition five years ago.
French Size 44 (approx size 8-10 US) - our apologies, it is large on our mannequin - especially the skirt.
Skirt: 33" Waist (great drop waist skirt if desired); 42" Hips; 102" bottom hem circumference
Sleeveless Top: 39-40" Bust; 20" Long from top of mid shoulder to bottom hem
¾" Sleeve Top: 38" Bust; 22 ½ " Long from top of mid shoulder to bottom hem; 16" between the shoulders measured from top of shoulder at arm opening.
Cummerbund: 26" when closed (1 inch overlap) with hook & eye and snaps; 1 3/4" at it's narrowest; 10" at it's widest.
Bonus Material (see below):
The skirt has been very tastefully altered as follows: it appears the waist may have been taken in, as there is a break in the grosgrain waistband, darts and and no label; the side slit pockets were (in my opinion) thankfully removed leaving a much sexier piece; the skirt was originally a maxi and we are including what appears to be the bottom 5" of the skirt with the ensemble.
