In the 1950's, renowned silversmith Carmen Beckmann became a shop proprietor in San Miguel Allende, Mexico. Her masterful works are some of the most collectible and rare Mexican silver pieces. This lovely ring is in excellent vintage condition and is an exceptional and desirable example of her craft.
The piece is designed in the shape of a domed flower, six fine amber cabochons encircling the seventh like petals. The amber is set in a raised bezel fashion with open back and accented with sterling ball beads. The center amber cabochon is framed by a sterling rope chain, and the rope chain repeats in double around the outer circumference of the ring. Thank god it's a ring and not a necklace, because you won't be able to stop admiring it's beauty.
Marked Sterling, Beckmann, Mexico as shown in the photo.
Size 6.5; weight 10 grams.
