If you've ever owned a piece of Sherman jewelry, then you know that no crystal/rhinestone jewelry, old or new, can compete with the quality of a Gustave Sherman jewel. This spectacular parure consisting of articulated necklace and bracelet, and of course, the matching earrings, is much more stunning than our camera could capture (most of the pictures appear either too light or too flat). This circa late 1950's set sparkles and captivates with a cool pairing of pale lavender and blue Swarovski crystals set in an expertly crafted rhodium plated setting. In addition to the finest materials and craftsmanship, the artistry is truly notable. One can study the genius of Sherman by looking at the differing sizes and cuts of crystal and how they are so creatively and pleasingly arranged. Here we have baguettes, emerald cuts, brilliants and teardrops, and the results are as fine as costume jewelry gets.
This set is in excellent condition. (While browsing the shop, we noticed the photo shows a missing small blue crystal. We have matched this with a Swarovski crystal and had it set.)
Amazingly, a Sherman piece will almost always look brand new. It should last you a life time.
Necklace measures an approx. 16 1/2" not including the clasp; each triangle on the necklace measures 1 3/8" on 2 sides and 1" on the 3rd side; bracelet measures 7" wearable length and 5/8" wide; earrings 1 1/4" x 1/2" approx. This set is a real treasure and is guaranteed to dazzle!
