PAIR of framed Paris - European street scenes paintings on canvas, both showing Sacre Coeur Basilica, Paris each signed "BRUNO" at lower left. I would guess these are tourist pieces in the Montmartre painters tradition, probably dating to the 1950's or so. There is no mistaking the style of the prolific artist Antonio de Vity, who from mid century on created enormously popular scenes of familiar sites in Paris. The measurements are 19" by 14 1/2" with the frame they are identical in size, and they are framed identically as well, the canvas attached directly to the frame, though there is wear to each frame.
