This print is a lithograph on paper measuring 16 3/4" by 12 1/2" in its frame. There is a title at lower left in Dutch "Afbraak", which translates as "demolition, destruction, decay, decomposition, rot". That would seem to square with the subject matter, apparently a house destroyed in war; so the work could be seen as a commentary on the ravages of World War II in the Netherlands. The artist has dated the work 1965 at lower right next to his initials (perhaps "Fr. V.") and numbered the print 10/12 at lower left. I don't know who the artist might be but further research might well determine his or her identity. The print has normal paper oxidation but otherwise is in very good condition.
