Here is an original pencil signed etching dated 1925 showing the famous Notre Dame cathedral in the heart of Paris, France. Measuring 10" by 11 3/4" inside the mat and 14 1/2" by 18 1/2" framed, the print is signed by artist "Kelly" at lower right. The artist signed, I think, with a pen name; I have become aware that this image was created in 1915 by the listed artist Andor de Szekely (1877-1945). Other examples of this very same print are signed with that name. I suspect that the long and complicated name of de Szekely was so hard for people to remember that the artist decided to simplify things with the signature "Kelly". The condition is very good overall though there is a brownish discolored area measuring about 1/2" by 3/4", in the lower right corner to the left of the word "Paris", possibly related to a past insect resident. If you have pleasant memories of your trips to Paris then you will like hanging this in your home or office.
