Color lithograph print signed at lower right in pencil by Florida artist Buell Whitehead (1919-1993). The measurements are 13 3/4" by 17" image and 25 1/2" by 27" framed. The lithograph based on the famous B. Whitehead painting "Tobacco Barns" and printed by artist in late 1940's. The artist was Illinois-born but spent his later years in Ft. Myers, Florida. Whitehead spent his youth in the backwoods of South Florida but was able to attend the University of Florida in the 1930's, and at some point after that he came to Los Angeles, where he studied at Otis Art Institute. He sold his works coast to coast so they are widely distributed. Condition is a very good - bright colors of the image, with even, overall browning especially along the edge where the mat contacted the paper. The frame showing some wear.
