Clean lithograph with fresh colors, titled at lower left margin "Jungle Idol", and signed in pencil at lower right and dated there 1957, by the highly acclaimed twentieth century American artist Mark Freeman (1908-2003). The print measures 16" by 9 3/4" inside the mat and 25" by 18" framed. The small light brown dot noticeable at lower right. The Austrian-born Freeman was trained as an architect, and this training served him well especially during the 1930's as he created drawings and prints documenting the changing New York City skyline. See another work in my shop by Freeman---a 1961 gouache drawing of that famous skyline at night. W.
