Italian art coastal landscape sunset scene oil painting signed

This is a beautifully executed painting of a sunset scene is somewhere on the coast of Italy. The scene includes large and small boats in the distance, two figures in one of the boats. the painting is signed at lower right, but I cant read signature. There is some repainted spot at the sky area upper right corner. Otherwise the painting is very good condition. The frame is damaged. Measurements 19 1/2" by 27 1/2" and 26" by 34" framed. ST
