This is large serigraph on quality paper addresses the universally fascinating topic of aging. The artwork measures 24" by 32" image, and 28" by 36" paper sheet, is signed in the image with a marker at lower right by the internationally recognized artist Aldo Luongo (1940-), and it bears the notation "PP" (artist proof/ printing process) at lower left edition 19/55. Aldo Luongo, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1940, has come to be an enormously successful and popular artist on the commercial gallery scene, with many signed prints offered in the marketplace on a number of continents, as well as a sprinkling of original acrylic paintings and some drawings. Online biographies describe his strong creative impulses, special fascination with soccer (which he played professionally) and other sports, and his travels in Italy, Spain, and America. Most but certainly not all of Luongo's works feature genre and figures, often in romantic associations. See, on the net, many images of the artist's other works. The print is in excellent, clean condition, a couple of white paint spots in the sky are from the printing process.
