A fine French old master drawing of a church interior unsigned but bears old pencil inscription on the reverse, "interieur de l'eglise de Ste. Mersinde au Coteau", and below that is a name, perhaps written as "Louise". The drawing could date to the 18th century or at the latest early 19th century. Note the ten tiny figures, one dog, and exquisite architectural details of the church interior. The condition is excellent. Measurements are 9 3/4" by 7 1/2" and 12 1/2" by 10" framed.
