Selling set of FIVE architectural etching by artist Ernest Roth. The titles are: "1947 Institute of Humans Relations and Sterling Hall of Medicine, Yale University" measures 8" by 11" image; "1946 Duke University - Medical School", measures 7 3/4" by 11" image; "1945 Harvard Medical School" 7 3/4" by 11" image; "1945 7 3/4" by 11" river, boat, med building"; 7 3/4" by 11" ?;. All artworks are signed and dated in plate, no pencil signature!!! Artworks are in good condition considering the age. Ernest David Roth was born on 17 January 1879 in Stuttgart, Germany. A few years later, he and his family moved to America. Because it was necessary for him to work during the day, Roth enrolled in night classes at the National Academy of Design. He began studying etching under the renowned James D. Smillie who produced etchings and illustrations for many publications.
