Offered for sale is this lovely and fanciful, 1950's vintage, lace and embroidered tulle ball gown, possibly used as a debutante's cotillion ball gown or perhaps as a wedding gown. It has a satin lining, a semi-illusion top, capped sleeves, a fitted bodice terminating in a point, a tulle underskirt sewn in layers, and an overskirt that is covered in tiny lace florets. The back of the gown has a long row of fabric covered buttons, thirty-three in all, which are all present and accounted for. The gown is in excellent vintage condition
and would be comparable in size to a modern day Size 4.
