This is an early 1920's vintage vivid orange gown, well constructed, with striking white beadwork designs. The gown with its slightly dropped waist, has its own lining which is held together with hooks and eyes in the back. A tunic-type of construction covers the bodice and is fastened on both sides by a series of snaps. Each shoulder is also connected with another series of snaps. The lining is original and has a slight tear near the neckline. Otherwise, the gown is in near perfect condition. Although it looks like it is cut full, I believe that it would be equivalent to a modern day Size Small, because of its complicated construction.
