Offered for sale is an elegant white Edwardian (1901-1919) tea gown of fine white embroidered netting and cotton batiste. The gown has a rounded neckline, elbow length sleeves, and a lovely layered skirt. The gown has hooks and eyes for closure at its back. The embroidery is exquisite and fine and appears throughout the design on the bodice, sleeves, and on the three layers of netting on the skirt. Its bust line measures 34" around and its waist line measures 22" around. From the top of the shoulder to its hem line measures 52". It is in excellent antique condition consistent with its age and usage.
