This is a magnificent pair of gilded brass perfume bottles with intricate filigree work created by the Apollo Studios in New York, somewhere between 1909 to 1922. Each perfume bottle measures 8.5" in height, 4" in width, and 1" in depth. Each of the stoppers has a gorgeous, transparent, single, faceted topaz-colored crystal with a tinge of pink in it. Each cut crystal measures 1.5" in width by 2.5" in height. The pair is in very good vintage condition, with the exception being that one of the glass vials/canisters which would hold the perfume, has been broken off at its bottom and the other vial/canister is in tact, but has cracks in it. I believe that the glass vials/canisters could be replaced or the pair could be used for decorative purposes only. Each perfume bottle is stamped "Apollo" at the edge of its base. The pair would make a lovely gift for any collector of beautiful things.
