This rare and unusual 1920's white skull cap had been made from hundreds of convex pieces, each being a little bit smaller than a dime in size, of some type of early plastic material, interspersed with glass bugle beads and the occasional faux pearl. The hat's interior is made of straw and is lined in tulle. Its label is present and in tact and reads, "Buscha Hats-New York". This extraordinary millinery creation is in excellent vintage condition comparable for its age and use. Its circumference measures approximately 22".
