Three Japanese porcelain Imari plates with foliate rims are beautifully designed with circular medallions with scrolled edges and varying patterns and sizes over-laid over tree branches with birds in flight. They are each 8 ½ in diameter and painted in rich enamels colors on a white ground. All three are in good condition with some loss of gilt on the rims. They date from the late Meji Period (1868-1912).
